Case One: Porphyria – The Psychiatric Perspective.
Edited highlights of a clinical case presentation including interviews with the patient, her father and a physical examination. Following the natural break, the programme concludes with a resume of the diagnosis and facts about Porphyria.
Case Two: Parkinson’s Disease and Depression.
Dr Dawson introduces the presentation, followed by an interview with the patient and an assessment of the clinical situation. Illustrates the impact of multiple disorders and the interplay between them and the effects of treatment.
Case Three: Hypomania.
Edited highlights of a case presentation. Interview with patient having been in hospital for one week. Follow up interview some years later with patient and carers. Shows the impact of chronic illness on family.
